Cash Management

Customers maintain both cash and securities accounts with Clearstream for their securities settlement and custody activities.

Clearstream offers a wide range of Cash Management and Treasury services designed to support the transaction settlement process, increase efficiency and finance transactions.

The cash management services offered by Clearstream are available for all currencies accepted in the Clearstream system.

Clearstream promotes the efficient use of the cash component by providing:

• Same-day value withdrawal and deposits in many currencies

• Automatic currency conversion of income

• Automatic withdrawal of custody proceeds.

Foreign exchange services

Foreign exchange services are also available on an automatic or a case by case basis. Clearstream can arrange for flows from custody proceeds and securities settlement activities to be converted into a currency of the customer’s choice. The customer’s account at Clearstream is then automatically credited with these funds.
