![]() The Online Certification service combines a decision tree with electronic forms to simplify relief-at-source procedures for customers. The decision tree helps to quickly identify the documentation requested by the local tax authorities. Using smart forms, mandatory fields left blank are immediately highlighted. This reduces the number of wrongly formatted documents and saves time in transmitting documentation to the tax authorities. The information entered into an Online Certificate is stored in a two-dimensional barcode that is printed with the form. By scanning this barcode Clearstream can extract the data in its original form, further reducing the risk of error or delay. Online Certification is possible for the following markets:
