ISO 20022 via SWIFTNet XML

The ISO 20022-based SWIFTNet Funds business solution is Swift’s strategic service offering in investment funds distribution.

Clearstream, being committed to the latest developments and responding to customer demand will provide this connectivity channel as from Q4/2006.

Bridging between old and new formats

Recognising that not all industry participants will want to migrate to the new standard immediately, Clearstream will accordingly extend the principle of “connectivity of choice” implemented in Vestima+ to cover ISO 20022 also.

This means, in particular, that participants can continue to use their current connectivity format (for example, ISO 15022) even when the counterparty to the order has opted for another (for example, ISO 20022): Vestima+ will communicate with each participant via its chosen connectivity channel and format.
